Hannah & Casey - Romantic Garden Wedding at Kohl Mansion
Hannah and Casey are my literal dream clients. From their elegant, classy taste to their romantic, confident relationship with one another, I relished every moment of our time working together for their wedding, including their engagement shoot.
Concept
Hannah and Casey booked the Kohl Mansion in Burlingame for their wedding venue. This classic building two-times as a girls’ school during the week, and a grand wedding venue by night. Their vision for their wedding was a romantic garden theme, and dare I say it also had a touch of old Hollywood.
Hannah and Casey assembled quite the dream team of vendors for this venue (you could say I am biased). I was particularly impressed with Love Life & Bloom’s day-of coordination (so easy to work with), Filmore Productions’ easygoing and customer-centric demeanor, Lora Lu Makeup’s attention to detail, and La Olivia’s pastel, springtime florals (I mean… that arch!).
Favorite part of the day
Personally my favorite part of the day was from their first look. Hannah and Casey decided to exchange their vows in private ahead of the ceremony. As they shared their promises and words of admiration, they were both emotional (as Casey remarked, “I didn’t think I would cry during my vows!). It was such an intimate, memorable moment ahead of the ceremony and welcoming their friends and family. I’d encourage all my couples to share private vows or a private first look ahead of the wedding!
