Far far away, behind the word mountains, far from the countries Vokalia and Consonantia, there live the blind texts. Separated they live in Bookmarksgrove right at the coast of the Semantics, a large language ocean. A small river named Duden flows by their place and supplies it with the necessary regelialia. It is a paradisematic country, in which roasted parts of sentences fly into your mouth. Even the all-powerful Pointing has no control about the far far away, behind the word mountains,

When Cece reached out about capturing a Mother’s Day session with her son Ethan, I was thrilled to recommend one of my favorite Bay Area locations: Rodeo Beach in the Marin Headlands. This stunning beach offers everything I love for family photography gorgeous golden hour light, fewer crowds at sunset, and that magical coastal backdrop that makes every family shine.

Lisa and Georges wedding at Viansa Winery in Sonoma featuring autumn hues, heartfelt moments, and an elegant, deep red palette. These two have a deep, unrushed, kind of adoration for one another, and it is so evident in every photo that they are just madly in love.

At Joyce and Jonas’s Allied Arts Guild celebration, a stunning Spanish-style venue in Menlo Park, 50 of their closest family and friends gathered for what felt like the most elegant garden party imaginable. With personal letters to each guest, emotional toasts, and a surprise Mr. Softee ice cream truck finale, their intimate wedding perfectly balanced sophistication with heartfelt moments that had everyone alternating between happy tears and joyful laughter.

What a magical evening in downtown San Francisco! The way Hyein and David look at each other just radiates joy – the kind that makes everyone around them feel a bit lighter, a bit happier. Their celebration perfectly balanced the hotel’s grand European architecture with their own modern romance, brought to life through soft pastel florals and feminine, elegant touches (those Dior shoes, though!).

Hansuh and Daniel hosted 25 of their closest family and friends at their intimate wedding in Palo Alto. Their ceremony at Grace Presbyterian Church was followed by a cozy lunch reception at Vesta restaurant, located in downtown Redwood City. Rich in personal significance, their day embodied true intimacy and closeness of community.

This sweet family session at Gamble Garden has my heart so full! Monica and Jeff brought their girls (and their beloved pup!) to explore the grounds on a warm July evening in Palo Alto, and the resulting images feel like pure magic.

Summer evening family photos at Gamble Garden

Morning light filtered through the Arizona Cactus Garden in Palo Alto, during this multi-generational family photo session. Nicole and Mark brought their 10 month old daughter Kaia, home to the Bay Area from their current base in the UK. This photo session was with Nicole’s family – her mom and her two brothers. The morning light added a fresh, bright vibe to these family photos.

Lareine chose the lush Gamble Gardens in Palo Alto for her maternity photo location. She wanted both a blend of posed maternity portraits, as well as some candids and posed family photos with her husband and two year old son. If youre considering taking maternity photos in the SF Bay Area, I highly recommend Gamble Gardens as a location! Its flat, well paved, and full of beautiful blooms especially in the spring and early summer months.
