Welcome to the archives. The heart of my work, where you can find some of my favorite photographs I've ever taken. Whether it's a grand celebration or an intimate elopement, or an at-home maternity session, I hope you can feel the nostalgia of the passing seasons of life, and the joy of being able to relive a little bit of that through these photographs.
As expected from an event planner, Juliette and her family showed up in impeccable style. I couldn’t help but admire the muted, neutral tones of their outfits, perfectly balanced when placed against one another but each could stand on its own and had a unique style. It was literally the gold standard for dressing for a family photoshoot.
The kind of maternity photoshoot that every photographer dreams about. Anji reached out wanting to take photos to commemorate their life in their home and neighborhood in San Francisco, before the arrival of their first child. Perhaps my most urban shoot to date, and Id love to do many, many more of these.
As soon as Joan reached out, I knew that this was going to be an exciting, creative collaboration. She was hoping to combine her Korean heritage and Western upbringing. Joan and Justin wore their western Wedding attire the classic white dress and suit combination at the San Francisco Legion of Honor. We then got them changed into their Hanbook (Korean traditional clothes) and they had the whole set! The hat, the shoes – everything. Its like they walked out of a K-drama.
As a fine art wedding photographer in the San Francisco Bay Area, I’m always thrilled to capture love stories in our areas diverse venues. Tucked away in a residential Palo Alto neighborhood is the Elizabeth F. Gamble Garden, with an array of vibrant blooms and lush greenery especially in the summertime months. I was so excited when Narae and Namhoon reached out to me to photograph their intimate summer evening wedding at this Palo Alto venue.
This hidden gem of a Palo Alto wedding venue provided a lush backdrop for their sweet ceremony and reception. The golden hour light filtered through the foliage, and made for more romantic moments in an already cozy garden setting. For those considering the Elizabeth F. Gamble Garden for their Palo Alto wedding, I can attest to its charm as a truly magical venue.
