Late October in Sonoma gave us the perfect backdrop for Lisa and Georges wedding at Viansa Winery – rolling hills painted in autumn hues, rows of vines stretching into the horizon.
Lisa struck me from our first call together. Halfway through, she simply said she’d been following my work for a while and knew I was her photographer. As a wedding photographer, its always such a huge compliment to hear a vote of confidence from your clients and I never take it granted.
On their wedding day, I teared up quite a few times (what can I say, Im a very emotional photographer!). Of the many moments, one stand out to me in particular. During their ceremony, I remember the words from Georges vows, recounting how they met in New York City and sat on the floor of their apartment hanging out. If were doing the same thing ten years from now, then I cant imagine wanting anything more than that”. Ladies, if you have found yourself a George, dont let go!
Lisa and Georges kind of love is honest, unrushed, finding joy in every moment. I wish them the absolute best in their new lives as newlyweds, and Im so happy to share a little bit of their story here.
