Magical coastal wedding, Half Moon Bay
I'm so excited to share Hana and Tyler’s magical, coastal wedding at the Half Moon Bay Golf Links / Ritz Carlton.
No surprise that my favorite details are the deeply personal ones. We began the day with a surprise scrapbook moment with the bridal party. A perfectly sunny ceremony with a bridal entrance to Taylor Swift, and a recessional to Miracles Happen. (Yep, a Disney Channel happy ending!) A wedding cake by Hana's mom, with custom-made puffin cake toppers. As the evening went on, we were treated to a lion dance performance and Indomie bar to celebrate Hana’s Chinese Indonesian heritage. And last but certainly not least, drink stirrers featuring their cat Miso.
Hana chose light blue as the main accent color palette, creating a cohesive color story throughout her wedding day on the sunny California coast. Her lush floral installation featured coral dahlias, marigolds, and periwinkle blue blooms for an abundance of whimsy. My favorite detail from the night was actually their custom cake toppers - puffins! Puffins are known to mate for life; they also hail from Maine, which is where Tyler is from!
