Kim-Perez Family - Family Photos at the Arizona Cactus Garden
I had the pleasure of photographing the Kim-Perez family for their holiday card photos.
Juliette reached out to me, and I saw from her IG that she was actually the head event planner with C+W Events. As expected from an event planner, this family showed up in impeccable style. I couldn't help but admire the muted, neutral tones of their outfits, perfectly balanced when placed against one another but each could stand on its own and had a unique style. It was literally the gold standard for dressing for a family photoshoot.
What made it even better was how their outfit palette seamlessly they blended with the background. The cactus garden provided a stunning backdrop, with its muted greens, browns, and golden hues that came alive during the late afternoon's golden hour light.
Juliette’s family was an absolute pleasure to photograph; they were naturals in front of the camera, with both Alina and Mila being talented dancers. They were so confident, trying out different poses and knowing exactly what to do with every prompt I threw at them. However, what truly stood out to me was their genuine comfort with each other. Their love and connection radiated through the lens, creating heartwarming and intimate moments frozen in time.
Looking back at the photoshoot, my favorite images are the close-ups capturing their heartfelt hugs. I hope that it helps them relive that time in their lives.
