Wedding at Church of Nativity in Menlo Park and Los Altos History Museum
In April, I had the pleasure of capturing Moonyoung and John's beautiful Bay Area wedding. The day began with a heartfelt Catholic ceremony at the Church of the Nativity in Menlo Park, which has a gorgeous courtyard and classic church interiors. Originally we had planned to take first look, couple photos, and wedding party photos at the nearby Gamble Gardens, but due to an earlier delay, we decided to take the photos at the courtyard of the church instead and dare I say - I think this was a great last-minute fix!
The celebration continued with a reception at the charming Los Altos History Museum. This venue actually has both an outdoor portion where there’s beautiful golden hour light, as well as an indoor portion where the food can be served as buffet and it turns into a dance floor later into the night.Guests were treated to touching toasts from the wedding party and fathers, expertly balancing humor and emotion. The reception embraced springtime vibes while incorporating classic wedding traditions like the grand entrance, cake cutting, and first dances.
What a beautiful wedding, at such wonderful venues in the San Francisco Bay Area. Congratulations Moonyoung and John!
